The Technology Business Office (TBO) is a strategic hub driving operational excellence and service-oriented architecture across wireless and wireline networks. In this role, you'll shape impactful capital strategies, define future-ready technology roadmaps, and craft seamless service architectures. Your expertise in program management and service analytics will ensure the timely delivery of key initiatives while uncovering insights to boost service performance. As a customer experience champion, you'll collaborate with Product and DevOps teams to align goals and implement strategies that truly enhance our customers' experience.

What you'll do

  • Lead the annual capital planning cycle and track monthly spending to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
  • Develop and maintain cost models for network services, focusing on unit cost tracking and lifetime value analysis.
  • Leverage data analytics to make informed decisions on capital allocations and optimize financial performance.
  • Develop and implement data-driven capacity models, based on DevOps team inputs, to monitor the core network's capacity across both wireline and wireless networks.
  • Analyze data to forecast capacity requirements and identify opportunities for infrastructure optimization.
  • Work closely with network DevOps teams to forecast and plan for future capacity deployment projects.
  • Use data insights to plan and monitor voice and data traffic, ensuring capacity meets current and projected demand.
  • Analyze usage patterns to optimize traffic management strategies and improve overall network efficiency.
  • Oversee the allocation and management of numbering resources, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational needs.
  • Identify and implement data reconciliation strategies to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive network migration initiatives to improve facility and circuit utilization, utilizing data to uncover opportunities for enhanced efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively in a DevOps environment, ensuring network planning processes align with DevOps cycles to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in planning management, with a strong background in both wireless and wireline networks.
  • Proven experience in leading capital planning and budget management, with a focus on data-driven decision-making, cost modeling, and financial tracking.
  • Strong understanding of core network capacity planning, with experience in both wireline and wireless technologies.
  • Background in cost-saving initiatives, particularly in data reconciliation, facility optimization, and network migration projects.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile, DevOps environment, adapting to fast-paced changes and working cross-functionally with DevOps teams.
  • Expertise in continuous improvement processes, leveraging data to streamline and enhance network planning operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple clear terms
  • Known for your strength in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coach a diverse team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Experience in building a collaborative and high-performing team culture, setting clear goals, and driving team accountability.
