About this opportunity:

Join us in advancing the country's digital agenda with 5G technology as a RF Power Amplifier Designer. You'll enhance our hardware products through requirement analysis, system and hardware design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, and product documentation. We emphasize Lean and Agile methodologies within cross-functional teams that prioritize continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

What you will do:

  • Design and simulation of PA board circuit level designs.
  • Select and characterize components for PA designs.
  • Analyze and optimize PA and RF circuits.
  • Conduct lab testing with RF equipment.
  • Work with link budgets.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and solving product related issues.
  • Perform open and closed downlink loop testing during the project development life cycle.
  • Some understanding of TX low power and Transmit observation receiver would be required.
  • Collaborate with design teams to understand system architecture and link budgets for transmit chains, defining amplifier solutions that meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements for timely product delivery.
  • Design and develop high-power amplifier modules (10W to 200W, 400 MHz to 5000 MHz) and support their integration into radio systems with digital pre-distortion techniques.
  • Model and characterize linear and non-linear circuit elements in high-power RF amplifier modules.
  • Use advanced CAD/simulation tools for modeling, analysis, and generating layouts and schematics for power amplifier modules.
  • Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturability issues at both module and system levels.

The skills you bring:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working directly in the development of radio products (RF systemization, RF hardware design, integration, or test).
  • Good understanding of RF electronics, RF system design and wireless systems theory and technology.
  • Good knowledge of 3GPP specifications, especially in Radio performance characteristics.
  • Knowledge of radio standards (2G, 3G,4G, GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NR, Wi-Fi, 5G)
  • Good knowledge of RF test instruments and verification process for PA design.
  • Knowledge of Load Pull simulations and measurements is important.
  • Material Physics knowledge on PA Semiconductor device level is important.
  • Experience of development and analysis of simulations, knowledge of simulation environments like ADS, AWR, HFSS and CST.
  • Python and MATLAB based scripting experience preferred.
  • Wide Band and high-Power GaN PA knowledge
  • PA supplier knowledge and technology trends.
