About the role

  • Production, Repair & Overhaul (R&O), In-Service Support (ISS) environment.
  • Working in a fast-paced dynamic group performing various technical tasks.
  • Well organized and diligent.
  • Able to take on tasks with little supervision.
  • Troubleshooting skills of analog/digital circuit cards and assemblies into component level.
  • RF/Microwave testing & troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting network equipment including Servers, Switches & Routers.
  • Developing and performing acceptance test procedures based on HW requirements.
  • Developing test software and test interfaces for the DITMCO cable tester.

What you bring to the role

  • 10+ Years Experience in a Production and R&O Working Environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, excellent communication skills.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of RF technology, terminology, test parameters and applications.
  • Experience in RF/Microwave testing & troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of analog and digital technology.
  • Telecom experience with setting up/testing & troubleshooting Servers, Switches, Routers.
  • Experience with Video Encoders and Decoders.
  • Experience with Fiber Optic Equipment.
  • Experience with lab test equipment Network Analyzers, RF Signal Generators, Power Meters, Power Sensors, Crystal Detectors, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • The knowledge of the following skills would an asset;
  • DITMCO cable tester programming.
  • Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Electronic Warfare principles and applications.
  • Radar system theory and operation.
  • Testing and troubleshooting Military Electronics Equipment.
  • MIL Standards and IPC 610 & IPC 620.
  • Willing to do some work travel.
  • Diploma from an accredited college in an Electronic/Electrical Technology discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
