About this opportunity:

We are looking for a 5G Cloud 5G Cloud RAN Test Automation Developer with expertise in cloud native concepts, Java coding with TestNG, and familiarity with CI/CD flow concepts such as Jenkins and Spinnaker. What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks based on MJE/JCAT/TestNG, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, identify test scenarios, and design and execute automated tests.
  • Implement cloud native testing strategies, leveraging containerization technologies and orchestration frameworks.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize test automation processes, frameworks, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and Spinnaker, enabling faster feedback and efficient release cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with development teams to identify root causes and provide timely resolutions.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, generating comprehensive reports and metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts.

The skills you bring:

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a strong background in wireless communication.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software/system engineering in telecommunication
  • Proven experience as a Test Automation Developer or similar role, with a focus on cloud native testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and experience with MJE/JCAT/TestNG
  • Solid understanding of cloud native concepts, containerization technologies, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD flow concepts, specifically Jenkins and Spinnaker.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
