We're looking for full-time Vehicle Lead Technicians @ Eglinton/York operations site, could it be you?

Your future role

As a Vehicle Lead Technician, you are responsible for providing field support for maintenance, repairs, and/or operation of vehicles in line with specified Quality & Delivery procedures.

You will also provide assistance to the Shift Supervisor in the management of vehicle technicians in the repair and maintenance of the Eglinton Light Rail Train (LRT).

While interacting daily with co-workers, external suppliers/contractors and management, all activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as prescribed by legislation and the ALSTOM Health, Safety & Environment policies.

You'll specifically take care of

· Complying with and enforcing EHSS policies and rules

· Performing various maintenance activities on LRT vehicles

· Ensuring all information, equipment/parts are available and prepared for efficient execution

· Reporting activities through a Computerized Maintenance Management system

· Closure of all Work Orders with accurate information and on time

We'll look to you for

· Technical leadership to assist / train / mentor other technicians

· To report and record incidents, any damage or shortage of parts of electromechanical equipment accurately

· To Assist the Shift Supervisor to periodically instruct the team/s on safety and job assignments

· Knowledge of Technician Operation Standard
