The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
The Quality Engineering will provide technical support, from a quality perspective, in the resolution of production concerns. The Engineer is responsible for verifying that all quality standards relating to production processes and finished goods are adhered to under all circumstances.

• Provide Root Cause Analysis and leadership in the resolution of customer concerns;
• Conduct engineering evaluation testing of electromechanical components and systems.
• Uses system analysis tools (LabView, programmers, oscilloscopes, meters, analyzers, etc.) to evaluate system performance
• Working knowledge of electrical hardware (including wire harness), software and electrical circuit theory as it relates to embedded controls for electro-mechanical systems.
• Communicate quality related changes to Engineering Departments to ensure that the corrective action can be applied to future similar circumstances;
• Participate on and provide support for troubleshooting to ensure a focus on high priority customer concerns;
• Demonstrates advanced ability in compiling and maintaining APQP and internally required Engineering documents (Eng. Specs., BOM, prototype control plans, 8Ds, DFMEA, DVP&R, Lessons Learned, etc.).
• Establish machine process parameters for all new programs & continuously monitor to improve/optimize. Prepare operator instructions for equipment, update & provide training
• Participate in the development of shop floor procedures to ensure that defined corrective actions are permanent;
• Provide support to Quality Department leadership to allow for increased focus on problem resolution
• Through cross-functional work with all other departments, obtain improvements for in-house rejections, customer concerns, cost of quality and run ratio measurables;
• Benchmark Techform quality practices against those of other automotive suppliers with the goal of continuous improvement;
• Take leadership role in responding to customer complaints in an appropriate and timely manner (ie. 8-D, 7-D, 5-P)
