This project is located in: Red Lake, Ontario - Travel In & Out on a Rotational Schedule

You as a Structural Civil Superintendent will:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to personnel during construction, installation, and commissioning of projects
  • Ensure compliance with project safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
  • Provide leadership and training to promote maximum productivity on site
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality of standards.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and quality control records.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have a Trade Certification and 5+ years of experience in one of the following trades: Welding (CWB), Iron Worker/Steel Erector and/or Carpentry.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in an Industrial facility setting
  • Software is heavily used within the organization processes; the candidate must have strong computer skills and have previous experience working with software programs such as: Microsoft Office (Excel), and Proprietary Software
  • You have a working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
  • You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions
  • Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II, and Leadership for Safety Excellence
  • Travel is required with this position; candidate must have a valid drivers license, and a reliable means of transportation. A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
