The Aerostructure Market of Héroux-Devtek focuses on a complete line of precision machined structural components and assemblies, from simple aluminum parts to large monolithic five-axis complex components.

Summary of position:

Magtron Aerospace Inc. is recruiting a full-time Millwright for its manufacturing plant located in Toronto, ON.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Millwright is a key position of the manufacturing team.

Salary: $38.50 per hour

Main responsibilities:

• Conducting inspections of all mechanical equipment and tools
• Providing preventative maintenance for equipment and machines
• Inspecting tools and machines for cleaning deficiencies
• Collaborating with production staff and operators to proactively reduce downtime
• Updating and maintaining maintenance records
• Coordinating outside contractor activities
• Reading, understanding, and following all safe work practices for machinery and equipment
• Understand company safety regulations and relevant occupational health and safety legislation
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications:

• 5+ years demonstrated experience in tools and machine maintenance
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a Millwright Certification / License
• Mechanical aptitude and dexterity related to maintenance tools, equipment and instruments
• Strong, effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels in the plant
• Demonstrated problem solving and priority planning skills
• Understanding of production processes and lines in a factory environment
**Must successfully pass the Controlled Goods Program security clearance**
