FSQA Coordinator
The FSQA/CI Coordinator will ensure the adherence, efficacy, and continuous improvement of VG Meats' FSQA and CI processes. The FSQA/CI Coordinator will conduct routine monitoring and data compilation related to these processes, as well as to help develop and implement corrective actions in the form of process design, communication, and validation.

Responsibilities:
Routine monitoring and data compilation of FSQA and CI processes
Tracking and investigating non-conformities
Implementing and validating corrective actions and system/process improvements (5S, poka-yoke, kanbans, etc.)
Performing Warner-Bratzler shear force testing and image analysis for our tenderness testing program
Assembling and checking slaughter reports
Tracking inventory and ensuring the adherence of FIFO
Deliver and record training sessions
Utilize G Suite to maintain FSQA programs
Work with third parties to diagnose equipment failures
Respond to customer quality concerns and other QA-related emails
Other duties as assigned
Requirement (KSAOs) & Qualifications:
Alignment with VG Meats' values, mission, and organizational strategy
Post-secondary education in Food Science, biological sciences, quality management, food safety, lean principles, or related disciplines.
Knowledge of municipal, provincial, and federal food-related legislation
Experienced in the use of meat processing and packaging equipment
Excellent oral, written, and documentation skills
Excellent G Suite skills; especially Sheets and Forms
Strong attention to detail
Well-rounded and motivated
Ability to work and move in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
