We have a great opportunity in our Portfolio Management Office Department in the CEO's Office. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Advisor to join our team.
As the Advisor you will perform and/or coordinate project, program, and portfolio management functions. The position is involved with driving project management maturity in processes, standards and systems including information systems implementation activities and continuous improvement efforts to facilitate and enhance TTC project delivery and reporting. Assists the Manager in the overall planning, management and administration of the TTC's Capital Portfolio to ensure the ongoing success of the various projects, programs and overall portfolio maturity. Monitors existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion, following project development to track that each stage is completed appropriately and within guidelines of the project management framework as required for the specific area of responsibility.
The incumbent takes a lead on the establishing of a strong system for management in standards, procedures, reporting, governance and other PfMO office deliverables in line with industry best practices. Prepares various reports and presents information and recommendations relating to areas of responsibility, as required, which may include following up on work plans, action plans, conducting gap analysis and conducting presentations to senior management/executives.
Acts as a corporate resource and provides advice, direction and interpretation regarding policies, rules, procedures, standards and performance measures. Recommends and develops mechanism for tracking KPIs and improvements based on best practices.
Supports the management of the Portfolio Review Board (review of presentation material, schedule, risks, issues, alignment of interdependencies, milestone progress, delivery of corporate plan objectives etc.). As well support the development, and management of TTC's capital portfolio reporting (Project Status Reports, Dashboards, Reports etc.) and the Quality Assurance Process of TTC's capital portfolio to improve Project Status Report quality and compliance.
