General Accountability

Provides a variety of administrative and clerical support services for the Revenue and Security Equipment Maintenance (RSEM) section, including carrying out general administrative assignments relating to material and equipment acquisitions and capital project acquisitions, and performing a variety of general office duties relating to the sectionâ??s daily activities.

Key Job Functions

Coordinate work requests, following procedures, and ensuring requests are complete, accurate and in accordance to standards.
Coordinate locksmith emergency and service calls, as well as those for various revenue and security equipment.
Liaise with other colleagues/support staff, other departments, and/or external parties concerning routine matters under the direction of department staff.
Process and monitor material and equipment acquisitions as well as capital project acquisitions.
Maintain the RSEM Equipment Maintenance and Reliability System, and provide assistance with system administration of department/section systems.
Prepare and/or assist with the preparation of correspondence and/or documentation on behalf of the department/section in accordance with department/section standards.
Operate a non-revenue TTC vehicle, to conduct section business as required.
Prepare the payroll for employees in the area of responsibility and maintain supporting documentation.
Assist with and/or coordinate the daily administrative activities of the department/section.
Demonstrates behaviours that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Education and Experience

Completion of secondary school education in a relevant discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
