Your Role
An integral role in the management and support of the Business Enabling Functional Units, you as our Functional Unit Controller will act as the business partner to provide financial expertise, strategic development support and collaboration and robust risk assessment to drive and challenge sustainable, cost controls to enable business unit profitable growth whilst ensuring financial and KPI health. You will ensure financial transactional accuracy and adherence to ICS compliance and Kuenhe+Nagel Guidelines, as well as provide accurate forecasting whilst pro actively improving processes and efficiencies.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible for the control, monitoring and adherence to ICS (internal audit controls) and corporate policies and guidelines
Independently process month end closing to ensure accurate costs and accruals recognition in the P&L
Monitor and maintain P&L adherence and MCoA organizational structure
Collaborate with the business enablers to ensure financial integrity of the monthly results and cost control
Analyze financial reports and KPIs and support business to ensure improvement and actions taken
Review Business Investment Applications
Work with the Sales department to develop and improve visibility and accuracy of sales and customer data and forecasting performance to enable BUs to grow
Produce accurate forecasting and target costings
Identify risks and sensitivities provide guidance and recommendations
Monitor costs, challenge overspend, and develop bridges to explain variances to rolling forecast
Identify, recommend and support implementation of process improvements and cost reductions
Support BU Controlling with corporate cost visibility and allocation logics
Support Tableau enhancements and drive reporting self service initiatives and enhancements
Provide management leadership, support, training and empowerment to direct reports

Your Skills and Experiences
Diploma/Degree in Business or Finance Bachelor's
CMA or CPA designation required
+5 years' experience in cost accounting and / controlling environment
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding environment beneficial
Confident relaying financial information to non-financial personnel
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma
Strong business acumen and commercially minded who will act as the financial conscience of the business
Proven experience identifying cost savings, simplifying and improving processes, implementing efficiency gains and measuring and reporting on key indicators
Knowledgeable in building business plans, defining gaps and opportunities, and assessing all risks involved to make informed decisions
Ability to lead, empower and support a team
