Job Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and upkeep of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure machinery is operating at peak efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
- Analyze mechanical failures, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process optimization.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, championing our commitment to responsible operations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Geographically mobile and flexible to work in various locations as required.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (Spanish, French, Arabic, and/or Portuguese, are an asset.
