We are looking for a Manager, Early Talent in our Talent Management Department to join our Team!

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Director, Talent Management, the Manager, Early Talent is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to attract, recruit, and retain early career professionals. The Manager, Early Talent will develop, manage and lead the execution of innovative, results-driven early talent acquisition strategies and programs. You will focus on building a robust pipeline of diverse talent, and foster partnerships with educational institutions and industry organizations. As Manager, Early Talent you will be responsible for the management and oversight of recruitment and selection functions, ensuring consistent, fair and equitable employment practices within the Early Talent portfolio are adhered to.

Client relationship management is also a key aspect of the role, requiring the promotion of early talent programs to internal stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for long-term talent strategies. The Manager, Early Talent provides strategic advice on inclusive recruitment practices, and ensures the recruitment processes are aligned with current EDI guidelines. Furthermore, the role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment processes, evaluating program effectiveness, and providing regular reporting on key performance indicators. You will also focus on enhancing the candidate experience by building relationships with students, improving recruitment campaigns, and planning student events.

The Manager, Early Talent will provide direction to a team. You will lead and advise workforce planning and targeted workforce development strategies for early talent programs and business priorities. The Early Talent Lead will execute and deliver on early talent projects and champion best practices. You will be required to participate in the TTC's Customer Service Ambassador Program.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?

  • Your educational background including completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent, combined with several years of directly related work experience is integral and will contribute to the success in this role.
  • A certified Human Resources Professional designation is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining successful early talent programs is required.
  • Your application will demonstrate experience in developing project plans and managing projects pertaining to the development of programs, outreach initiatives and recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the recruitment and selection process including outreach, sourcing and attracting talent, structuring and conducting interviews and determining candidates' suitability for positions is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in building successful partnerships and outreach initiatives with educational institutions, and external community and network groups is required.
  • Your application will also demonstrate experience in research, data collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting of qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Ability to analyse and present data and research materials in a variety of forms including written reports, presentations, charts/graphs etc. and knowledge of web based applications is required.
