A Day in the Life:
-Hire employees as necessary to maintain production targets/schedule, through the approval of the Marco Santos.
-Update and maintain AWD Metals production schedule.
-Report all Safety concerns and incidents.
-Oversee the production of the IMP materials for Speedwall.
-Oversee the Metals CNC equipment at AWD.
-Assist in the YE employee reviews.
-Oversee the Metals assembly/crating area and employees at AWD and provide the necessary training, tools, and direction.
-Collect all volume control sheets and email them or hand them to Tommy McGuire.
-Distribute new work orders as required.
-Inspect work in progress.
-Maintain high QC Standards.
-Ensure Safety throughout the area.
-Keep high standards of 5S.
-Coordinate transfer to and from FMT and bringing new WIP to AWD and sending out completed work to site or storage.
-Run Metals T1 meetings at AWD.
-Participate in T2 meetings as required in FMT.
-Coordinate employee vacation approval with Marco.
-Organize and maintain consumables and tools for ongoing production. Request orders with Procurement.

What You Bring:
-Previous management experience in a manufacturing facility.
-Previous experience with architectural cladding considered an asset.
-Previous experience managing production, labour and material schedules required.
-Ability to read shop/fabrication drawings.
-Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Strong communication skills.
-Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
