Could you be the full-time hybrid Project Controls Manager in Toronto, ON, CA we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates. You'll manage the project progress and its KPIs, reporting to senior management and key stakeholders with transparency during the business/critical project reviews. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Project & Bid Management, Documentation Control, Planning), ensure alignment between the DML (Document Master List) for all projects plus P6 schedules, cost planning and control processes, and much more.

We'll look to you for:

  • Reporting progress, Earned Value Analysis, resourcing forecasts, and other planning metrics into the wider business,

  • Establishing and maintaining alignment between the Document Master List and P6 schedules,

  • Managing the interface with the project Documentation Control software,

  • Establishing visibility, control, and reporting processes internally and to our Onxpress partners and the customer,

  • Managing complex information from multiple sources to create meaningful reports and charts,

  • Interacting and communicating effectively with all levels of the delivery team and stakeholders across multiple locations and departments,

  • Providing the interface between Planning and all Work Package Managers, Project Management and the client,

  • Working autonomously and independently, setting high personal standards

  • Proficiency in using Primavera P6 for scheduling and planning.,

  • Experience or understanding of project control practices within a complex project environment.,

  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.,

  • Familiarity with project documentation control systems and software.,

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.,

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear reports.,

  • Competence in Earned Value Management and other project performance evaluation techniques.,

  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.,

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • experience in project controls or planning within Engineering, Transportation or Construction
