General Accountability

Protects security and integrity of the assets and facilities within the area of responsibility. Uses electronic monitoring and access control over satellite-controlled access properties. Performs cash/revenue collection escort services in conjunction with armoured car personnel, as well as various mobile/walking security patrol duties. May be involved in responding to emergency or security related situations. Performs security related administrative duties in support of other sections of the department.

Key Job Functions

Review and oversee activities within area of responsibility.
Document, log, and report on activities and information as required.
Maintain and store records and activities as required.
Manage systems, access capabilities, and security check processes to ensure activities and work processes are executed according to plans and policies.
Perform a variety of administrative and support activities pertaining to area of responsibility.

Perform security patrols and respond to security related questions.
Arrange for staffing changes and work activities to optimize performance and reduce the risk of loss.
Ensure staff coverage for all TTC locations and oversee work activities.
Demonstrates behaviours that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Helps to remove barriers and accommodate employees and customers (within their area of responsibility) in accordance with TTC's commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC's policies.

Education and Experience

Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
