You as a Quality Lead will:

• Manage the implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan on large scale Construction projects
• Facilitate proper planning of the work to effectively manage risk and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Oversee the development and implementation of Subcontractor Quality Plans and Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs)
• Measure and evaluate the performance and capabilities of key suppliers and subcontractors
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Participate in the Quality Audits that will assess the degree of implementation of the overall Project Quality Management System.
• Work in conjunction with all parties involved to ensure proper implementation of the planned QA/QC procedures such as mock-up reviews and approvals, inspections, surveys, testing, installation sign-offs, etc.

Is this the right role for you?

• You have a construction related degree/diploma and 5-8 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
• You have a working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software
• You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and lead a large team to successful completion
• You have the ability to champion and lead the effective implementation of operational best practices, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives
• Familiarity with quality management systems and practices is an asset
• Working experience with building envelope systems is an asset
