Our Strategy & Foresight Department is seeking a Senior Planner, System and Policy to join their team!
Reporting to Manager, Transit Systems Planning (Acting) you will research and develop various plans and studies related to transit system-wide planning. This includes preparing medium and long-term transit plans (like the 5-Year Service Plan), identifying long-term resource requirements (fleet, facilities, budget), special studies on various transportation related issues (such as integration with other modes. transit agencies), methods and procedures (like service standards) and prepares reports as well as statistical data on short- and long-term effects and policy alternatives in each case. As Senior Planner, System and Policy, you will supervise work of staff and provides technical expertise in coordinating major projects and research activities. You will ensure highest levels of customer service and operational feasibility within available budget and adherence to policy guidelines. You will be responsible for developing operational standards to guide staff and propose new solutions and prepare TTC's response to development projects.
