Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) maintenance technicians and subcontractors (as required/necessary) for the Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, emergency field modifications and Warranty activities on the Eglinton LRT contract. Make timely and responsible decisions regarding operational and personnel matters including allocation of resources, customer service issues, performance appraisals, employee development, and corrective actions. Monitoring and assigning Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities. Must perform the job with the understanding of ethical and integrity responsibilities. Ensuring Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) protocols/procedures are implemented and adhered to. Upholding respect and dignity policies, workplace violence policies, and promoting a conducive workplace environment free of harassment.
