About the Job

When you join our team of drivers you become part of a team you can count on. You know how to provide excellent customer service and become responsible for the collection and cleaning of grease trap equipment. You take pride in performing daily inspections of your vehicle and equipment, always making health & safety a priority. You are used to working with minimal supervision and organizing your shift schedule. In this role you will spend up to 80% of your time driving to various locations, based on a daily schedule.

The starting rate for this role is $29.96 per hour with two annual increases for the first four years. PPE and uniform is provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform daily inspections to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and equipment
  • Drive to multiple locations to collect grease trap waste for recycling, and perform grease trap cleaning
  • Promote driving safety, and follow relevant regulatory policies and procedures

Here’s What You Need

  • You have a valid Ontario AZ class Driver’s License, and a minimum of two years of AZ commercial driving experience. Manual transmission driving experience is a must
  • A clean driver’s abstract and a criminal background check is required
  • You know how to always be courteous, and make excellent customer service a priority
  • You are used to and can work with limited supervision
  • You have a good understanding of MTO regulations
  • You can communicate with clarity, verbally and in one-on-one or group situations, and over the telephone
  • Ability to work early morning or afternoon shifts and overtime
  • Fluent in English (ability to speak, read and write English)
