Centennial Nissan in Summerside is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our Parts & Service Department!


NOW HIRING: Parts & Service Assistant

LOCATION: Centennial Nissan of Summerside, Prince Edward Island

HOURS: Full Time Days, 40-45 hours per week.

WAGES: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience)


THE PERFECT FIT:

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is motivated, organized, and has a real interest in automobiles and working in a team setting. You will be a key player in the success of our service & parts department, previous experience with shipping & receiving of parts would be considered an asset.

  • Valid driver's license is required

Note: While experience in automotive service is preferred, we welcome applicants with a customer service mindset and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate.



JOB TASKS:

  • Service Advisor:
    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
    • Schedule service appointments and manage the service workflow effectively.
    • Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately.
    • Provide detailed information on service options, costs, and timelines.
    • Present service recommendations based on inspections and diagnostics.
    • Communicate with technicians and team members to ensure timely repairs.
    • Coordinate with the parts department for necessary components.
    • Keep customers updated on repair progress and address any concerns.
    • Assist with customer concerns alongside the Service Manager.
    • Provide accurate estimates for completion times and notify customers of any changes.
    • Maintain proper paperwork, including opening and closing repair orders.
    • Collect payments and ensure a balanced cash register at the end of each day.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


  • Parts Advisor
    • Greeting customers by phone or in person
    • Answering parts inquiries and following up with customers
    • Maintain a tidy work environment
    • Receive/ billing of parts inventory
    • Maintaining inventory levels
