Building Structure Technician

Tasks

• Perform calculations and develop plans in accordance with building structure standards and load requirements stipulated by the building code.
• Carefully review plans to identify potential errors and specify complex details to facilitate production in the factory (including the building envelope, structure, technical specifications, assembly, and manufacturing drawings).
• Verify the consistency of structural assemblies such as roofs, walls, and floors.
• Strictly adhere to current standards, including the building code.
• Assess the feasibility of projects and new designs.
• Work closely with different departments and follow up on project progress.
• Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements

• DVS in Building Design, or DCS in Architecture or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the residential and institutional sectors.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Knowledge of the building code.
• Excellent mastery of wood construction techniques.
