Tasks

  • Lead and guide the technical drawing team, ensuring task distribution and priority management.
  • Oversee the management of schedules, hours, and payroll, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate interactions with various departments to ensure smooth processes in design and production.
  • Supervise the preparation of documents necessary for obtaining construction permits.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations to guarantee the quality of deliverables.
  • Proactively contribute to meetings with teams to improve practices and optimize existing processes.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Degree in architecture, building mechanics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in wood construction (residential, multi-residential, or institutional).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Expertise in mechanical systems, building envelope, and structure.
