Location: Brossard Salary: $60,000 to $90,000 per year, negotiable based on experience. Job category: Industrial Management Type of job: Permanent Schedule: Monday to Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 3:15 PM, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Tasks

  • Monitor tasks and create and complete reports.
  • Supervise and engage the team daily.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Plan tasks based on priorities and available resources to meet objectives.
  • Manage personnel (integration, training, occupational health and safety, discipline, quality, productivity, and problem-solving).
  • Ensure the development of the production team's skills.
  • Promote continuous improvement.
  • Participate in recruitment, integration, and performance management of employees.
  • Contribute to improving production processes to enhance productivity and ensure compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Be responsible for product quality.
  • Ensure company rules, policies, and procedures are followed.
  • Track performance indicators and conduct process audits.
  • Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements

  • A diploma in a discipline related to operations management or equivalent and relevant experience in personnel management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing service company.
  • Ability to read plans and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with various software such as MS Office Suite, Windows, Excel, and an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of production and improvement tools such as MRP, Kaizen, 5S, and Lean is an asset.
  • Relevant experience in PCB electronic assembly (an asset).
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards (an asset).
