Building Mechanical Estimator

Tasks

• Read mechanical plans and specifications (take off equipment quantities from the plans).
• Ensure follow-up on addenda.
• Prepare the bid according to company standards (equipment selection, request for equipment costs, or selection in supplier software).
• Communicate with contractors and suppliers, as needed.
• Manage bids (closing and extension of deadlines).
• Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

• Training in building mechanics or other relevant qualifications.
• Good knowledge of computers and project management software.
• Knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Proficiency in written and spoken French.
