What are your contributions to the team?

  • Participate in design activities for R&T projects from concept to entry into service.
  • Participate as a technical expert in structure design (metallic & composite) and/or system installation design.
  • Define and manage major systems or structural interfaces.
  • Prepare and assess feasibility of technical trade studies.
  • Coordinate problem solving activities and provide technical solutions.
  • Prepare and review the required engineering documentation, i.e., manuals, requirements, reports, presentations, new technical processes, among others.
  • Collaborate with a vast group of experts to recommend the best structural concept selection.
  • Elaborate risk management matrix and mitigation plans.
  • Define strategy for achieving projects goals such as content, scope of work, costs, risks.
  • Liaise with suppliers, internal and external.
  • Provide visibility to management as needed.

How can you thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering and more than 15 years of experience in aerospace with relevant experience in structural design, systems installation design, or integration.
  • You have a hands-on experience on major structures development on a minimum of two new aircraft development programs.
  • You have a very good knowledge of CATIA V5 or NX.
  • You are open-minded, curious, and enthusiastic. You are eager to develop and learn.
  • You are autonomous with strong work ethics.
  • You are looking for a harmonious and cohesive teamwork environment.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have good communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience.
