Tasks
Perform quantity takeoffs necessary for preparing estimates.
Conduct site visits, as needed, to collect relevant information for bids.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment, based on bids, plans, specifications, and client requirements.
Solicit prices from subcontractors and assess their compliance with project requirements.
Review and analyze received bids, managing any changes or addenda associated with them.
Draft, finalize, and submit bids within the specified deadlines.
Update and optimize systems and procedures related to bidding, project tracking, and reporting.
Maintain an accurate and comprehensive directory of suppliers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
Perform any other tasks necessary for the successful completion of projects and stakeholder satisfaction.

Job requirements
At least 5 years of experience as an estimator with a general contractor: commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
Hold an AEC in construction estimating, training in architecture, or equivalent experience/education.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
Desired profile

Organized and with strong field experience.
Skilled in both imperial and metric measurement systems.
