Service Coordinator

At SMS Equipment, the Service Coordinator will be responsible to effectively coordinate department activities to meet corporate department objectives in compliance with the collective agreement, company policies and human resources policies.

The schedule for this position is 5x2.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Follow-up and analysis of Fluide Life reports
• Assist supervisor with chart and report to schedule maintenance and recall campaign
• Maintain an up-to-date preventive maintenance schedule for service trucks
• Plan and file all annual equipment inspections and certifications related to the service department
• Review inspection and maintenance records to make estimates and provide information to supervisor.
• Support supervisors in their daily tasks
• Provide administrative support for invoicing
• Replace supervisor as needed
• Make all quotations for department and representatives
• Support department in achieving OHS objectives

Requirements :

• DEP or DEC in mechanics is an asset;
• Minimum 1 year experience in management and work planning;
• Minimum 1 year experience in mechanical engineering;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use specialized software
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Excellent customer service skills, team spirit and leadership.
• Experience in a unionized environment (an asset).
