The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, Eastern Region, the Business Analyst, Proposals and Contracts primary mandate is to support the Eastern Region Sales Team in the execution of new and recurring commercial bids, from roadmap planning to finalization.
• Act as a business partner to the Sales Team in the context of new (or recurring) commercial bids as well as special projects.
• Participate to the implementation of standardized tools and processes to complete commercial bids, including Excel templates, detailed roadmaps and checklists.
• Identify key elements of the manufacturing bill of materials in collaboration with program managers and financial analysts, coordinate the update of projected costs and integrate them into the pre-established financial model.
• Analyze data & provide recommendations or initiatives at the cost or pricing level to the client
• Organise and support the bid process and roadmap from planning through to completion and Approval presentations.
• Prepare data and cost reports to support proposal audits, if applicable.
• Participate in customer contract analyses.
• Collaborate in proposal negotiations with the Héroux-Devtek teams.
•Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or other relevant fields.
•Experience in manufacturing cost management analysis.
•Contract Management skills; Request For Quotes and Commercial proposals practical experience are key assets.
•Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
•Advanced skills in MS Excel and data management required, knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
•Available for business travels, within Canada and USA, for customer visits or participation to conference & trade shows.
•Excellent French & English communication skills, written and spoken are required.
