Your future role on our team

By joining our team, you'll be asked to help with the various stages of project execution, including proposals, onsite surveys, analyses of industrial power systems, drafting technical reports and final delivery to the site, while benefitting from BBA's network of recognized experts to support you in completing your mandates and in your professional development.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring quality professional services and for maintaining strong client relationships.


With us, you'll get the opportunity to...

  • Carry out engineering projects in power system studies with a focus on renewable energy.
  • Carry out onsite testing for renewable energy generation facilities.
  • Perform validation studies of PSS/E models.
  • Help carry out NERC compliance studies.
  • Perform system analyses with specialized software in the power systems industry: power distribution, short-circuiting, arc-flash studies, harmonic emission, grounding, insulation coordination, etc.
  • Draft and review high-quality technical reports to support our clients.
  • Share your technical knowledge with colleagues and younger engineers by organizing Lunch and Learn (L&L) sessions and sessions to discuss technical information.
  • Serve as a proposal leader by preparing competitive and value-added proposals.
  • Serve as project leader by successfully completing technical mandates in power systems.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least seven years of experience in the power systems industry
  • Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client sites in Canada
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Knowledge of system simulation software: PSS/E, EMTP, PSCAD, CYME, ETAP
  • Asset: Master's or doctorate degree
