Your future role on our team

Join BBA and make the most of your experience by actively contributing to the various steps of major projects in industrial energy efficiency and building services, from the earliest stages of the business relationship to onsite equipment commissioning. You will be part of our mechanical team specialized in the energy transition and you will help our customers to decarbonize their installations.

You'll be using your leadership skills every day, whether it's developing trusting relationships with our partners, training the next generation or managing a passionate team.

This role will give you the opportunity to take the lead while also being in the thick of the action by working closely with talented people.

  • Work with the team on innovation projects involving decarbonization and energy recovery in the industrial sector
  • Design building mecahnics systems (HVAC, thermal networks - cooling and heating loops, heat recovery systems) and approve associated engineering documents
  • Develop trusting and quality business relationships
  • Lead and participate in preparing proposals
  • Manage the technical portions of projects (design reviews, costs, schedules)
  • Prepare, draft and produce study reports

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Over 15 years of relevant engineering experience in the following areas: energy efficiency, heat recovery, thermal power systems, cooling systems and HVAC
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages
  • Asset: available for short-term work assignments at client sites in Québec and across Canada
