You are:
A hands-on data consulting leader, a Solutions Architect who knows how to develop, design, and maintain cloud-based data platforms on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Your expertise lies in orchestrating complex ETL processes, building robust data warehouses, and driving the adoption of modern data technologies. You are a next-generation thinker, a proactive problem solver and trusted advisor to clients, when it comes to what we call Data in the New.

You thrive in guiding teams to transform intricate data challenges into scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that propel business success. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Technology Solution, Architecture and Delivery of large and/or complex full lifecycle data applications across cloud, hybrid and on-prem landscapes
  • Design and build robust data pipelines using scalable tools and techniques (yes, we're talking big data) to produce high quality data structures
  • Design data solutions, architect data transformation projects, develop solution blueprints and data modernization/migration plans, document, and present recommendations to clients and/or stakeholders.
  • Implement quicker data processing methods and integrate complex business logic compatible with daily or real-time/streaming frameworks
  • Increase automation and scaling of complex data sets based on the customer's analytic use case, such as structured data delivery for business analysis, daily extraction of mission enabling data for data mining/exploration, and transforming data for applied intelligence to power impactful data visualizations
  • Drive business and proactive development activities like proposal responses, recruitment, etc.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in implementing data architecture and solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering and implementing Data & Analytics solutions on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud using appropriate services delivering value to the client.
  • Strong hands-on experience in building data pipelines e.g. Spark, Kafka
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing Data Platforms on Spark/Hadoop
  • Experience developing or migrating on-premises Spark workloads to the cloud
  • Solutions architect certification in one of the cloud platforms Azure, AWS or Google cloud
  • A bachelor's degree or college program, preferably in computer science, or mathematics
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous consulting or client service delivery experience.
  • Effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication.
  • Master's Degree

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
