Your future role on our team

By joining our team as an engineer and project leader, you'll participate in engineering mandates and programming in automation, instrumentation and control. Your role will be to contribute to various phases of engineering and site work. You may be asked to help develop various deliverables that would make it possible to carry out a digital solutions mandate. You'll also have the opportunity to mobilize and manage a work team to deliver the expected results, while developing your entrepreneurial skills.

  • Help define the scope of projects and proposals.
  • Allocate tasks to technicians and drafters assigned to the project, review their work and assess the technical scope.
  • Be involved in commissioning.
  • Help prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (P&IDs, layout drawings, I/O loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, installation details).
  • Help program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCSs) and human-machine interfaces.
  • Monitor the project to ensure it remains on time and on budget.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • From 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in automation, instrumentation and control
  • Experience in programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)
  • Experience in pre-operational verifications (POVs) and commissioning
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages
  • Asset: Knowledge of DCS
