Your future role on our team

Continuing its growth, BBA is looking for a drone survey, design and piloting technician with LiDAR experience to join a multidisciplinary team. You'll have the opportunity to work with or learn to use equipment such as GPS, robotic total stations, drones, 3D scanners and more. Full training will be provided as soon as you start work.



With us, you'll get the opportunity to...

  • Design roads, platforms and underground pipelines for mining and energy projects using 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Serve as surveyor, drone pilot with LIDAR and designer for projects across Canada and possibly in other countries.
  • Give presentations to clients about BBA's surveying and drone services to help develop business.
  • Generate various reports, process data collected on site and create detailed plans.
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings with stakeholders and serve as a consultant in your area of expertise.
  • Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Use new technologies.

Requirements

  • College or vocational diploma in civil engineering
  • Five years of surveying and design experience
  • Strong knowledge of surveying techniques (GPS, GPS base, robotic total station, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D software for design and quantity calculations
  • Available to work in the office and travel regularly to remote areas
  • Valid driver's licence in Canada
  • ASP Construction card
  • Asset: drone piloting experience
