Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Fleet Management position in Montreal, QC from Jan - Apr 2025.

Job Summary

The Intern, Fleet Management is responsible for assisting with special projects that support the Fleet Management Service Group and contributes to the overall efficiency of the fleet management processes. The incumbent is accountable for analyzing fleet fuel data, developing strategies to minimize fuel card fraud, as well as reviewing licensing processes to identify and correct inefficiencies.

Major Responsibilities

  • Leverage internal tools to gather and analyze Fleet fuel card data
  • Develop strategies to minimize fuel card fraud and maximize compliance
  • Provide recommendations to improve processes and drive change
  • Review the current licensing process to identify opportunities for increased efficiency

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking to make recommendations that promote sustainable performance
  • Utilizes feedback and coaching to enhance performance
  • Applies a continuous improvement mindset
  • Makes informed and timely decisions to achieve objectives
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)
  • Knowledge of programming languages*

Education

  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field

*Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
