Your future role on our team

When joining our team, you'll work with multidisciplinary engineering teams (engineers, technicians, drafters and other team members) and take part in several projects, performing tasks during the study, design, detailed engineering or commissioning phases.

With us, you'll get the opportunity to...

  • Apply established calculation and design methods.
  • Participate in the review and analysis of process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
  • Develop mass and thermal balances with software such as Excel, Bilmat, MetSim or HSC
  • Size process equipment
  • Help develop internal tools and support research in emerging technologies
  • Receive theoretical and practical training on the various phases of the work related to your field of academic knowledge
  • Help prepare reports, specifications, quotations and tenders
  • Perform routine field inspections or technical surveys
  • Support engineers or technicians during performance tests or commissioning
  • Assist engineers, designers and technicians at various levels by performing tasks that require precise calculations and accurate data

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • Enrolled in a university program in metallurgical or chemical engineering
  • Basic knowledge of reading drawings
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Asset: Knowledge of VBA programming
  • Asset: Previous experience in mineral processing (acquired during internship or in the classroom)
