Your future role on our team

You'll report to the Service Centre team leader and play an important role in maintaining and providing support for corporate software and associated hardware.

In addition to maintaining and monitoring system components, you'll ensure that performance levels are always optimal and that IT components evolve based on the firm's growth requirements. As the first point of contact for both internal and external clients, you'll need strong soft skills to provide excellent services and ensure a positive user experience.

Support for internal and external users

  • Serve as the first point of contact for user support
  • Assist users with questions about corporate software and guide them in using available resources effectively
  • Provide quality technical support during outages or anomalies affecting corporate software components and hardware
  • Analyze and resolve complex operational problems
  • Perform urgent cybersecurity tasks on equipment under your responsibility
  • Work with various IT teams to escalate and resolve complex problems

Software and hardware management

  • Manage software and hardware inventory
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements and open tickets with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Package, validate and deploy applications to make them available
  • Perform updates, and install and configure workstations and software
  • Conduct capacity and performance planning analyses to ensure high performance and availability of environments
  • Test applications during deployments and confirm proper functionality

Documentation

  • Create and maintain adequate documentation for procedures and support tickets
  • Create user guides to help resolve recurring issues
  • Monitor and improve existing methods

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • College diploma in computer science or equivalent training
  • Ability to adapt communications based on the targeted audience (technical or non-technical)
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Availability outside usual office hours
