Your future role on our team

BBA is seeking a junior structural drafter to join a team that offers high-quality expertise and consulting services. In your role, you’ll establish and strengthen relationships with clients. You’ll also be required to help carry out in-plant projects involving biofuel manufacturing processes, carbon capture and utilization, green hydrogen, water treatment, liquefied natural gas, specialized chemicals, lithium processing and much more.


An overview of your future role at BBA

  • Draw concrete and steel structures for projects in the energy, petrochemicals, environment, sustainable development, industrial, mining and metallurgy and other industries
  • Model 2D and 3D drawings
  • Coordinate information sharing with other disciplines
  • Work closely with other members of the project team
  • Occasionally perform work supervision and take site surveys
  • Maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients or their representatives and ensure their satisfaction

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • College diploma in civil engineering or any relevant equivalent training and experience
  • Proficient with Revit software
  • In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of how to read drawings from other disciplines
  • Available to travel occasionally to client sites and offices
  • Willingness to develop knowledge of steel or concrete structures
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Six years or less of experience
  • Asset: Comfortable working in a 3D environment (Navisworks)
  • Asset: Experience with site supervision
