Tasks
Supervise projects from start to finish: Design preliminary sketches and final plans in AutoCAD and Revit, manage site surveys, and oversee the technical aspects of the project while ensuring effective team management and client relations.
Ensure project compliance: Carefully analyze plans and specifications to ensure compliance with Canadian standards and local building codes, ensuring impeccable quality and adherence to client requirements.
Coordination with stakeholders: Align plans with various trades (architects, engineers, subcontractors) and coordinate technical aspects while proactively overseeing all project stages.
On-site project management: Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and address unforeseen issues on-site with pragmatism and ingenuity.
Client feedback: Maintain communication with clients throughout the project, acting as their direct contact, gathering and integrating their feedback, adjusting proposals, and driving the project forward according to their expectations.
Be the owner's right hand: You will be the key person supporting the owner in project management and progress, offering expertise and strategic advice.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Education and experience: College diploma (DEC) in architectural technology with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in architecture, ideally in Canada, with deep knowledge of Canadian building codes.
Practical experience: A strong background in managing large-scale projects, particularly in multi-residential, corporate, and commercial sectors, with proven experience in direct communication with construction teams and managing client expectations.
Mastery of essential tools: Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other professional design software. Experience with MS Project and strong skills in software such as Photoshop and Illustrator is an asset.
Specific knowledge: A thorough understanding of the Building Code and applicable standards in Quebec, particularly regarding commercial and multi-residential construction.
