Your future role on our team

We’re currently seeking a Junior Water Treatment Engineer to join our team in Montréal. You’ll be responsible for working on opportunities specific to water treatment.

In your role, you’ll support the Operations group and work on a wide variety of projects, such as water treatment of mine sites and metallurgical plants, of metallurgical and industrial processes, of camp site drinking and sanitary water, of ground water, of site remediation water and passive water treatment issues.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree (master’s or Ph.D is, an asset) in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • With 0 to 5 years of relevant experience (industrial, municipal, mining, an asset)
  • Must be familiar in analytical and modelling techniques to develop mass and energy balances, process flow diagrams and P&IDs
  • Knowledgeable in some metallurgical and industrial processes
  • Must be experienced and demonstrate successful writing of proposals and work plans
  • Currently registered (or eligible) with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Able to travel to mine or project sites as needed or for short- to medium-term assignments
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, and ability to draft technical documents in both languages
  • Asset: Experience with the following software (or equivalent): Aspen HYSYS, OLI electrolyte, Hydranautics and AutoCAD
