CNL’s Gentilly-1 Prototype Reactor (shut down and partially decommissioned) is located on the Gentilly Nuclear Generating Station site on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in Bécancour, Quebec, 100 km northeast of Montreal. Bécancour Regional County Municipality sits at the confluence of the Bécancour River, opposite Trois-Rivières, providing access to over eight different municipalities for living, work and relaxation.
