In this role, you'll design underground utilities, roads, drainage systems and various infrastructures, as well as manage projects in the following sectors: heavy industry, mining and metallurgy, energy, petrochemicals, environment, sustainable development and others.

An overview of your mandates and responsibilities

  • Produce design plans and specifications for projects.
  • Design underground utilities, roads, storm drainage systems, retention basins and various infrastructures.
  • Help plan, organize and assess work.
  • Prepare estimates, bills of quantities, schedules, budgets, specifications and reports.
  • Ensure quality control of work performed by engineers and technicians.
  • Assess client satisfaction and maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients and their representatives.
  • Coordinate a team of infrastructure engineers and technicians.
  • Coordinate design with other engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, etc.).
  • Assess engineering hours and prepare proposals.

Overview of job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure design, including roads, underground utilities and storm water management
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Knowledge of SWMM and EPANET modelling software
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D design software
  • Valid ASP Construction card or willingness to train for one
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French)
