You'll have the opportunity to develop within the Digital group at the Québec City office. This group includes the following disciplines: automation, instrumentation, advanced control, industrial computing and telecommunications. Depending on your interests and business opportunities, you'll have the chance to work on a variety of mandates to explore and develop your applied knowledge of the industrial environment, mainly in the mining and metals and renewable energy sectors.

Overview of your mandates and responsibilities

  • Help produce various deliverables for an engineering project cycle
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)
  • Perform integration and programming work on data acquisition and control systems (SCADA)
  • Help configure historians and appraise data
  • Analyze client data to identify root causes of problems and opportunities for improvement
  • Help analyze needs, choose technology and select solutions proposed to clients
  • Participate in equipment commissioning and testing at client sites

Overview of job requirements

  • Ongoing university degree or college diploma in electrical engineering, automated production engineering, computer science or any other related field

Assets

  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of programming PLCs
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Knowledge of the SQL and relational databases
