  • Provide technical mentoring to our team of engineers and designers
  • Provide technical support for design and detailed engineering projects
  • Lead and approve the design of plans and specifications
  • Lead and approve piping specifications
  • Lead and approve technical equipments specifications
  • Supervise and approve design calculations
  • Verify and produce request for proposal (RFP) files, specifications and other technical documents
  • Ensure work complies with established schedules, estimates, procedures and budgets
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the petrochemical industry
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic mechanical equipment, pressure vessel and piping design
  • Available for occasional travel for a few days to client sites
  • Major asset: Bilingual (English and French)
  • Asset: knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Trace700 and AFT Fathom applications
  • Asset: knowledge of pumps and compressors
