Our Transmission and Distribution Lines team is spread out across Canada, mainly in our Mont-Saint-Hilaire (head office), Toronto and Calgary offices. Our multidisciplinary team is comprised of specialized engineers, technicians and support staff and includes professionals from junior to expert levels.

Our team of experts helps clients with all phases of their projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management.

With us, you'll get the opportunity to...

  • Lead a team responsible for designing efficient and reliable lines;
  • Serve as a technical project leader or manager, ensuring that the project is on schedule, on budget and meets quality standards;
  • Design and produce engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects (from 5 kV to 765 kV);
  • Prepare PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE models;
  • Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines;
  • Supervise inspection of existing lines and produce required reports;
  • Support and supervise the quality of the work of engineers, technicians and drafters;
  • Prepare proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specifications.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering;
  • At least 10 years of experience in transmission and distribution lines;
  • Relevant structural experience;
  • Technical writing skills;
  • Knowledge of the PLS-CADD suite;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Asset: bilingual (English and French).
