Structural Engineer - Wind Turbines

Type of position: Regular

• Participate in business development, more specifically for wind projects
• Help prepare plans, design specifications and reports
• Design wind turbine foundations and support other renewable energy markets (storage, solar, substations)
• Perform finite element modelling
• Perform other technical functions to support project delivery
• Assist with site inspections and surveys
• Help plan, organize and assess work
• Help prepare estimates, bills of quantities, schedules, budgets, specifications and reports
• Participate in monitoring and commissioning engineering solutions
• Ensure quality control of the work of engineers and drafters
• Assess client satisfaction and maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients and their representatives

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Design
• Five years of experience in wind turbine foundation design
• Proficient in project management
• Advanced knowledge in reading drawings
• Intermediate knowledge of quality system procedures and instructions
• Knowledge of one of the following software programs: Ansys, Ada, SAFI
• Asset: Bilingual (English and French)
