Interested in helping with innovative projects? Our office in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean is expanding, and we're looking for a talented electrical engineer with at least five years of experience to join our Power System Studies team. While working at this dynamic office, you'll be supported by experts from the larger offices while enjoying a peaceful and pleasant work environment. You'll be working on projects both locally and nationally (across Québec and Canada).

We train and support our engineers so they can excel and be among the best in country. You'll be able to work closely with other team members to carry out power system studies. Our firm is focused on collegiality, diversifying employee skills and ensuring their well-being.

  • model MV and HV power systems using specialized software while integrating design data and operational parameters.
  • carry out in-depth analyses of power systems, including studies of transients, cable heating, harmonics, connection of private generators, earthing, etc.
  • identify risk areas and propose solutions to improve system safety and stability.
  • work closely with other engineering teams to incorporate the results of the system behavioural analysis into the overall project design.
  • draft detailed technical reports and present results to internal and external stakeholders.

Overview of job requirements and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Basic knowledge of power system modelling and analysis
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Solid understanding of power system modelling and analysis software, such as ETAP, PSS/E, CYME and EMTP- RV
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team
