An overview of your future role at BBA

Interested in helping with innovative projects? Our new office in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean is expanding, and we're looking for a talented electrical engineer with at least five years of experience to join our Apparatus team. While working at this dynamic office, you'll be supported by experts from the larger offices while enjoying a peaceful and pleasant work environment. You'll be working on projects both locally and nationally (across Québec and Canada).

We train and support our engineers so they can excel and be among the best in Canada. You'll be able to work closely with other team members to carry out power system studies. Our firm is focused on collegiality, diversifying employee skills and ensuring their well-being.

We're looking for a motivated and passionate electrical engineer to help with our success and growth in our new Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean office.

  • plan, organize and monitor all project phases, including managing workers, budgets and deadlines.
  • design and develop power system infrastructures in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • supervise installation and commissioning of systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
  • coordinate the in-house engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • ensure compliance with current standards and regulations for electrical installations and equipment.
  • communicate regularly with stakeholders (clients, suppliers, partners) to ensure transparency and that requirements are met.
  • track and manage the project budget, monitoring costs and controlling expenses.
  • solve technical and logistical problems encountered during the various project phases.

Overview of job requirements and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • An understanding of applicable standards and electrical codes
  • Adept at working on a team and communicating effectively with team members and clients
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under the supervision of senior engineers
