Tasks
Responding to the estimation process, from receiving projects, requesting documents (plans and specifications), submitting approved bids, and transferring the project to the project manager.
Researching projects the company could bid on.
Assisting project managers with pricing changes or extras when required.
Analyzing the costs incurred in each project at its completion and comparing them with the original bid to control cost structures and improve the bidding process.
Visiting job sites as needed for bid preparation, researching materials, contacting suppliers, negotiating material prices, and estimating work execution time considering all constraints.
Reviewing technical information, interpreting plans and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements
A college diploma in Estimation and Building Evaluation Technology (preferred) or a relevant field.
Valid driver's license.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, company management applications, Outlook messaging, and web browsers.
Desired profile
Strong knowledge and understanding of the company's sector.
Organizational skills, ability to structure work, and strong mathematical aptitude.
